Terms & Conditions for online purchases

Indigo Jewels is the trading name of Vicky Kerr. I make handmade jewellery and lampwork beads, plus other beaded accessories. For more background, see About Me. For further details on my jewellery and lampwork beads, see the FAQs.

Ordering
You can order using the online Paypal cart or email me. Please note that no contract of sale exists until full payment has been received, funds have cleared, and I have confirmed your order by email. (NB this is not the Paypal confirmation of payment, I will email you separately.)

Stock
Items for sale here are one of a kind, so you are purchasing the actual item pictured and described. If an item is out of stock because two people have attempted to purchase it at the same time, I will contact you by email as soon as possible.

If you'd like to check availability first, please email me and advise whether you would like to pay by cheque or receive a Paypal invoice.

Payment
Payment is either by Paypal using the online cart or (for UK customers only) by cheque. If you would like to pay by cheque, please email me to reserve the item(s). Cheques should be made payable to Vicky Kerr *address for postage available on request*.

Postage & Packing
Postage and packing has changed - it is now at £1 per item for most items (but may be slightly more for heavier items). The P&P prices given apply within the UK. Overseas postage will be charged at cost - I will send a Paypal invoice for any balance due.

Delivery
Orders up to the value of £34 will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Signed For, and orders over that amount by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please allow 14 days for delivery. I usually go to the post office on a Wednesday so you can probably expect your items to arrive on a Thursday or Friday.

Wrapping
All items will be securely wrapped in tissue paper and gift bag or a small gift box, depending on the item and its size. This will be packaged in a jiffy bag or similar, so your items arrive safe and sound.

Colours
I do my best to describe and picture colours accurately, but please be aware that monitors may display colours differently.

Returns and Refunds
I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If not, please email me.

If you change your mind and wish to cancel, please email me as soon as possible. If your parcel has already been posted, please return the items with their original packaging within 14 days and obtain proof of posting. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the items.

If an item arrives broken please let me know. It may be possible to repair jewellery. If repair is not possible a full refund will be offered.

The handmade items sold on these pages remain the intellectual property of Vicky Kerr. Any attempt to resell these items giving false credit to another maker constitutes theft under national and international property rights law.
